Participants can bring their own fabric to work on; however, we ask that the material not be stretchy.

Have you discovered an interest in painting but just want to do something more than a canvas for your wall? Come out and try silk painting.  Silk painting produces beautiful results and allows for a lot of creative freedom – like a water-color painting on fabric. In this workshop, students will learn and explore silk painting techniques using dyes and different resists.  This workshop will focus on the fun of using vodka on silk. As a treat we will also have a professional mixologist teach us three signature cocktails for us to try and sample while we nibble on a fantastic lunch.
